dan---it is not a positive note, people do not want to hear or talk about it. mythical story goes that Maranburu suppose to teach to men folk however fortunately or un fortunatley women folk learned from Maranburu. what is the truth now, does women have ability to eat human beings, right now according to me there is no prof or also that women are bad; you can say that, think of our mother and sisters, how nice they are. how shall we understand this mystery? it will be more practical if i say it is connected with psychological aspect connect with an individual who hears that dan( so and so is going to come to eat). this thought weak the person, individual feel insecure, stigma is so powerful that person isolate one self with fear and evil thought of death, again if some imput is given by the accuser all the more person find helpless to die. it is like now all the company give add of their product and public die to buy them with out reasoning out. of course there are many other factors to------if any body make a special preaparation of sacrifce to kill some one that also has a effect on the individual to who it is done, some time people find women in starange places and condlude so and so is dan, let me not close the chapter here, DAN is a mystry and each santal has their personal opinions and expereinces where my ideas or knowledge is faltu. on this regard no women will talk what it is all about, there are several issues connected with DAn, which easily can not be ignore, people are affected life and death. it is a game of good and evil, affected family can say more then me. i have two or three, feeling shy to narrate here.
