It was a fun
For both of us
Showing teeth and giggling
Throwing stones to each other.
If some body say—
My God – you know-what happened to her?
I used to worry about.
Others told her- she fasted and kept voluntary silence.
Till class ten, there was a silence
Dreams and desires grow older
In that silence
Not knowing what will be the safety,
The structure of the silence.
Whether we can give
blood and flesh?
Can our dream breath?
Can our smile walk?
As time goes- “Kolkata Book Fair” came
As I jump from one stalls to another
The Oxford stall- nailed my heart.
The four eyes came together
Reviving the first and second world war
In our hearts, remembering the crushed of twin tower.
